Using Old Data to Make New Products

Session Description

We'll present the decisions and data collection methods for determining if current assemblies are viable candidates for new products. We will discuss matching attributes (EG. Drive mechanism, energy density, cost,...), and collection methods (EG. old relationships, associated data, cleanup process,...). We'll review rules for comparing reuse to creation for time, cost, and quality.
