The Options and Variants Process in Creo Parametric and Windchill

Session Description

Using PTC's Options and Variants technology allows for a more robust and efficient design & collaboration. Leveraging this functionality allows the design community to create and re-use product platforms and easily manage complex relationships and configurations while allowing downstream sharing of the platform's design intent. By assigning systems-driven choices and automating product creation using variant specifications, the user will be able to save time and effort across multiple design endeavors. We will walk through the nuances of setting up and executing the Options and Variants process in both Creo Parametric and Windchill. The discussion will include an overview of the necessary licenses and lessons learned.
