From Reactive to Proactive: Fixing Things Before They Break

Session Description

Customer operates Reflow Ovens for the manufacture of Printed Circuit Boards and in order to maintain consistency in production quality, monitors Oxygen Parts Per Million in internal environment and Air Intake rates. Customer alarms on hard set points and deals with maintenance in a reactive fashion. We will cover use case determination and framing for applied analytics and how an implementation of ThingWorx Analytics was able to take the customer from a reactive maintenance strategy to a pro-active predictive strategy by leveraging the capabilities of ThingWorx Analytics. We will also cover development of a UI in ThingWorx Foundation that makes use of ThingWorx Analytics results and speaks to the fundamental use by the customer on the factory floor.
