Humans or Machines?

Session Description

There is potential for human-centered design to make the future a better place for people and the environment. We will share what we see as the emerging relationship between Humans and Machines within something we call Big Design. Big Design represents a shift in focus from the design of discrete products, services and structures, to more deeply connected, intelligent and interdependent systems bridging multiple contexts, platforms, and scales. The two together will create new types of systems and processes that will achieve more than either humans or machines could by themselves.
