Eric Froebel

Director, Engineering Global Business Process Lead and IT Architecture, AGCO

Presenter Bio

Eric Froebel is the Director of Global Engineering Processes, Standards and IT Architecture for AGCO Corporation. He has responsibility for defining the engineering processes, systems and standards as well as the enabling IT enterprise architecture needed to support AGCO’s global product design operations. Since joining AGCO in 2004, AGCO has over 20 systems into a single instance of Windchill that supports AGCO’s design and manufacturing centers worldwide; established AGCO’s global standards and product costing organizations; developed and rolled out AGCO’s New Product Introduction process; standardized CAD, CAE, ALM and software development toolsets; and supported the deployment of SAP at four divisions. Prior to joining AGCO, Eric gained extensive engineering, IT and manufacturing experience in multiple industries including automotive, medical device, consumer goods, electronics and heavy industrial equipment industries. Eric holds a Bachelor of Engineering Physics from St. Bonaventure University.
